Real Wedding: Milton Park Country House in Bowral by Pure Breeze Photography
This wedding is truly bridal inspo heaven.
Captured by local NSW South Coast wedding photographer Alyce from Pure Breeze Photography, at Milton Park Country House in Bowral. This wedding is simply just stunning, and a true credit to some of the amazing local vendor talent we have down here.
The gorgeous couple is Kayla and David. Here is a little bit about their love story and their amazing Southern Highlands wedding.
Describe the Moment He Proposed
He took me back to the old gazebo we would secretly meet at when I was 14 years old, when we started seeing each other.
He had covered the roof with fairy lights and had a bottle of champagne and a red carpet in the centre. He bent down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him.
He was so nervous he could barely speak; I never even answered yes or no, I just grabbed him and held him.
What are Your Memorable Wedding Moments?
Walking down the aisle with my Dad to sobbing David, then calming David down at the altar once I’d walked down.
Also David’s speech about our past and how long he waited to finally be here.
Some of the Personal Touches?
My headpiece that was holding my veil was the tiara my Nonna wore the day she married by Nonno 54 years ago. A double veil also to honour my other Nonna who passed away, as she believed in traditional love ceremonies.
This same Nonna and Nonno who have passed, their wedding rings where attached to my bouquet.
What was Your Wedding Style?
Classic. Big white roses. All white everything, and my dress to be a modern take on classic.
The Funniest Part of the Night?
Seeing all the Italians, Greeks, and Spaniards come together in traditional dances to celebrate our families coming together.
One Thing That Surprised You on Your Wedding Day?
How calm I was the morning of the wedding, and how seeing David as I walked into the church made me feel so at ease and calmed any nerves I had.
Anything You Would Change on Your Wedding Day?
No, it was everything I imagined it would be. The day was so full of raw and pure love, even the things that didn’t go according to plan are now perfect to me.
